| Tool for co-creation society |
The EXPO Eco-Money project is aiming to inspire and promote citizens' "Environment-friendly behaviors" through the Exposition. "EXPO Eco-Money" will be issued extensively both inside and outside the EXPO site. To shift social goals from "economic development" to "harmony between the environment and the economy," it is necessary to change to a "co-creation" society where all groups in society work together to create an environmentally conscious society. EXPO Eco-Money is also the communication-tool for such society.
At The 2005 World Exposition, Aichi, Japan, different bodies are participating in the project as supporters who will issue EXPO Eco-Money, such as retail premises, local governments for outside the EXPO site as well as the pavilions of participating countries situated in the Global Commons inside the EXPO site.
For more information, please see "How to participate."
